Peer-Assisted Learning (PAL) Program 2025

Gulf Medical University’s Peer-Assisted Learning (PAL) Program officially marked the academic year 2025 with a certificate distribution and inauguration ceremony, celebrating student-led academic excellence and collaboration. The event highlighted the vision and objectives of the PAL program, emphasizing its role in fostering peer-supported learning and leadership development within the university.

During the ceremony, certificates were awarded to PAL contributors in recognition of their dedication and academic service. Faculty members were introduced to the structure of the program, its impact on student learning, and its expanding role across colleges. The session also provided insights into the future scope of PAL, including plans for broader interprofessional engagement and enhanced learning resources.

The ceremony was collaboratively organized by PAL President Sara Esmaeili and Zahra Shahriyari Afshar, Head of the PAL Website and PAL Library from the Year 4 MD program, in partnership with Najma Farah (HDPCS). They were further supported by the other admins from across colleges, including Athena Nicole (Nursing), Huda Osman (Dentistry), and Roshanak Harirchian (Pharmacy), highlighting PAL’s strong interprofessional collaboration and student-led leadership.
