As part of World Gynecological Cancer Awareness Week, the College of Medicine organized a guest talk on “Gynecological Cancer Awareness” on 26th September 2025.
The session was delivered by Dr. Alaa El-Ghobashy, Consultant in Gynecologic Oncology Surgery, American Hospital Dubai. Dr. El-Ghobashy provided valuable insights into the prevention, early detection, and management of gynecological cancers, highlighting the importance of awareness, screening, and patient education.
The program was coordinated by Dr. Faten, and was well attended by both faculty members and students of the College of Medicine. The interactive session offered participants an opportunity to engage with the expert and enhance their understanding of current trends in gynecological oncology.
