Gulf Medical University celebrated its 2026 Rewards and Recognition event onboard the iconic Queen Elizabeth 2, honouring the dedication and achievements of its faculty and staff. The elegant gathering recognised individuals whose commitment and hard work have contributed significantly to the university’s growth and success.
The event also highlighted GMU’s accomplishments as a Great Place to Work–certified institution, alongside its recognition with the International Inclusion Award 2026 and the Diversity Champion Award 2026. Guests enjoyed vibrant performances by GMU staff and a cultural showcase celebrating the diversity of nationalities within the GMU community.
Senior leadership expressed gratitude for the collective efforts of employees in upholding GMU’s values and academic standards. The ceremony included special recognition for faculty marking 15 years of service, as well as other outstanding contributors. Overall, the evening reinforced GMU’s commitment to valuing its people and fostering a positive, inclusive, and supportive work environment.
