
Gulf Medical University faculty members successfully participated in the NAWA SPINAKER Intensive International Education Program titled “Hand in Hand. Medical Simulation – Creating Together the Best Medical Professionals for the Future Patients’ Care” at the Medical University of Lublin, from May 18 to 23, 2026.
The program is implemented under the program “SPINAKER – Intensive International Education Program (2024 Call)”, financed by the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA) and co-financed by the European Union under the European Funds for Social Development (FERS)

The faculty members who participated in the program are:

- Dr Marwa Mady
A one-week international training program focused on simulation-based medical education, OSCE development, debriefing techniques, clinical assessment, and the use of advanced simulation technologies such as SimMan 3G. The program brought together participants from Gulf Medical University and Wenzhou Medical University to strengthen academic collaboration and exchange expertise in healthcare education.
The training included hands-on OSCE practice sessions, discussions on the future of medical education, critical thinking development, patient safety, and experiential learning approaches. Participants also explored the state-of-the-art Medical Simulation Centre at the Medical University of Lublin.

The program concluded with a closing ceremony attended by Prof. Wojciech Załuska, Rector of the Medical University of Lublin, who emphasized the importance of international collaboration in medical education and future partnerships between the participating universities.
Dr. Mohammed Abdulrazzaq expressed appreciation to the Medical University of Lublin for hosting the program and highlighted the value of strengthening future cooperation in education, research, and simulation-based healthcare training.
