Dr. George Robinson, Professor and Chief of the Department of General & Laparoscopic Surgery at Pushpagiri Institute of Medical Sciences & Research Centre, Tiruvalla, Kerala, and an alumnus from the first batch of medical graduates of GMU, delivered a very motivating and comprehensive talk on the career options for the budding practitioners at GMU and TUH. He explained the various options to pursue specialization and sub-specialisation, as medical graduates, in both government and private sectors in India.
The session was organized by Dr. Mehzabin Ahmed, Chair of the Career Advising Committee, COM. The session was also attended by Dr. Pankaj Lamba and Dr. Liju Susan Matthew, who also added their valuable perspectives. The session was interactive with students enthusiastically engaged with the speaker, who offered insightful recommendations.
