On September 28, Gulf Medical University, College of Pharmacy held its annual white coat ceremony for its new Doctor of Pharmacy students. In this symbolic event, thirty new Doctor of Pharmacy students took the oath of the pharmacist, put on their white coats in an inspirational and moving event that was attended by students, families and college and university officials.

Mr. Thumbay Moideen, Founder and President of the Board of Trustees was the Chief Guest and presided over the ceremony. Chancellor, Professor Hossam Hamdy delivered the ceremony speech and welcomed the students to the dynamic world of pharmacy and to the exciting educational program awaiting them. Provost, Professor Gita Ashok Raj, led the recitation of the oath and the Dean and faculty members welcomed the students into the program and wished them a fruitful professional journey.
