EHMA Membership

Membership Benefits:

  • Our Members have a unique opportunity to become involved in developing, refining and implementing European health policies through formal and informal consultation. We hope you are receiving our EHMA members newsletter, as well as our email alerts, and that you will consider getting involved.
  • Members have access to our dedicated Membership Portal, where you will be able to discover a number of events and opportunities, as well as get in contact with all the other EHMA members with whom you can exchange best practices and discuss European health policies and practices.
  • EHMA has established Special Interest Groups, each of which focusses on a different health theme. Ranging from primary care to health workforce, our SIGs provide a unique space to respond to current issues in health policy and practice. You are able to join existing SIGs, as well as to propose the establishment of new groups.
  • The EHMA Annual Conference is the longest standing and most highly respected international conference on health management. You and your colleagues are entitled to a discounted registration fee. Similarly, you will be granted reduced fees to attend all events and trainings organised by EHMA.
  • EHMA brings together an unparalleled group of health management academics and researchers, responsible for delivering the Europe’s leading post graduate health management programmes. You can join the Programme Directors Group as well as accessing their educational, training and research expertise. When facing a challenge, EHMA can help you to find the right person in the right organisation and is additionally able to undertake short investigative tasks.
  • EHMA has substantial knowledge and experience of European funded research programmes and this can be of benefit to EHMA members with respect to on-call advice and the opportunity to identify potential research partners. We are also often asked of potential partners willing to join established consortia and we maintain a database of EHMA Member organisations for this purpose.
  • EHMA has an established governance structure. As a Member, you are automatically entitled to join our Annual General Assembly and to be nominated for election as a Board Member or to our Conference Program Steering Committee, enabling you to work alongside a range of colleagues from service delivery, policy development and academic research and programme development.
  • You and your colleagues are also able to utilise the EHMA offices in Brussels. Our offices can offer you complementary hot-desking space and the possibility of organising ad hoc meetings. EHMA offers our Members the potential to hold larger events within our conference room and provide logistic support to the organisation of such events.
