Prof. Zahi BADRAN is a Professor of Periodontology at the University of Sharjah (UAE). He is the Assistant Dean for Graduate Studies and the program director of the MDS Periodontology program. He was previously a Professor of Periodontology at the University of Nantes (France). He obtained his DDS degree from Saint-Joseph University (Beirut, Lebanon). He pursued his clinical training in Periodontology and Oral Implantology at the faculty of Dental Surgery at the University of Nantes (France). He has a MSc in Osteo-articular Biology from the University of Paris 7 and a PhD in Medical Sciences from the University of Nantes. He was appointed in the past Vice-Dean for educational affairs at the University of Nantes and has carried international learning and research collaborations as Adjunct Professor at McGill University (Canada) or visiting research fellow at King’s College London. He also co-founded” Ilham Badran-Education”, a non-lucrative association supporting students enrolled in Education Sciences university programs in France and Lebanon. He is currently an ITI fellow and the Sharjah study club director
