Prof. Mohamed Medhat Abdelrahman Kataia is a Professor of Endodontics at the University of Fujairah, UAE. He has an extensive academic and clinical background in endodontics, with a strong commitment to research, teaching, and advancing the field.

He obtained his Bachelor of Oral and Dental Medicine from Misr University for Science and Technology, followed by a Master’s degree and a Doctorate in Endodontics from Cairo University. His academic career spans multiple institutions, including MUST, Minia University, the British University in Egypt, and the University of Fujairah.

Prof. Kataia has actively contributed to endodontic education, curriculum development, and quality assurance committees. He has been involved in various training programs to enhance the skills of dental practitioners. His research primarily focuses on root canal shaping, restorability, regenerative endodontics, and the biomechanical behavior of endodontically treated teeth.

He has published extensively in high-impact peer-reviewed journals and has presented at numerous national and international conferences. As a keynote speaker for leading dental organizations, he continues to influence modern endodontic practices.
