Prof. Asmaa Youssif Abdelhameed Harhash

Prof. Asmaa Harhash is a Professor of Restorative and Esthetic Dentistry and currently serves as the Dean of Graduate Studies and Research at the University of Fujairah, UAE. She obtained her Ph.D. in Dental Science (Restorative and Esthetic Dentistry) from Cairo University in 2008, following her master’s degree in Conservative Dentistry from Ain Shams University in 2004.

With over two decades of academic and clinical experience, Prof. Asmaa has held several leadership roles including Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs at Al Fayoum University and Head of Conservative Dentistry Departments at Egyptian Russian University and Al Nahda University. Her teaching and research span restorative and esthetic dentistry, biomaterials, adhesion, cariology, biomimetics, and digital dentistry.

Prof. Asmaa has supervised and examined numerous MSc and PhD theses across major Egyptian universities and has presented and chaired sessions at national and international conferences. She has multiple peer-reviewed publications in high-impact journals and serves as a reviewer for regional and international scientific journals.

Her contributions have been recognized through several awards, including first place at the 2022 MBRU Dental Education and Research Symposium for her clinical study on biomimetic materials. She is a certified Pearson Edexcel Assessor of Vocational Achievement and a member of the International Association for Dental Research (IADR) and the Egyptian Dental Association.
