Mr. Gurulingappa Herakal, Lecturer in the Department of Anesthesia Technology, College of Health Sciences (CoHS), Gulf Medical University (GMU), UAE, proudly represented GMU at the 39th Annual Conference of the Indian Society of Anesthesiologists (ISA) – ISACON Karnataka 2025, held in the vibrant city of Mangalore, Karnataka, India.
Mr. Gurulingappa was invited as a speaker for the Allied Operation Theatre Technologists (AOTT) Workshop, conducted on 7th August 2025, where he delivered an insightful session titled “From OT Table to Career Table: What’s Next for You.” His talk focused on empowering and guiding emerging anesthesia and OT professionals to explore meaningful career pathways, leadership opportunities, and long-term professional growth beyond the clinical domain.
The conference brought together experts and practitioners from across the region and was organized with great success by the ISACON Karnataka Committee. The presentation was warmly received and highly appreciated by the event organizers namely Dr. Navinkumar Pakkala (Scientific Committee), Mr. Husain Sofi (Organizing Committee), Dr. Sripada Mehendale (Organizing Secretary), and Dr. Anand Bangera (Organizing Chairperson).
