Mr. Marwan Ismail, Lecturer at College of Health Sciences Achieves Outstanding Success at the Life – Laboratory Insights for Excellence 2025 Competition

College of Health Sciences is proud to announce its remarkable success securing First Place among 16 competitive poster presentations at the LIFE – Laboratory Insights for Excellence 2025 Competition, held at Sofitel Abu Dhabi on November 11 & 12, 2025.

GMU & CoHS congratulates Mr. Marwan Ismail, Lecturer, Department of Medical Laboratory Sciences who won First Place for his poster titled: “Prognostic Significance of Proliferation (KI-67) and Angiogenesis (CD34) Markers in Meningiomas for the Development of Rehabilitation Strategies.”

Laboratory Insights for Excellence 2025

This winning project reflects strong scientific depth and highlights the growing research culture within the College of Health Sciences. It also reinforces the increasing impact of research in advancing laboratory medicine.

Program Chairperson Dr. Ahmed Luay also congratulated the winner stating, “These accomplishments reflect the high quality of GMU’s academic training and the collaborative environment that drives innovation across the programs.”
