Dr. Ramprasad Muthukrishan, Associate Professor was invited as resource person and key speaker at the National e-conference #NSC23 with the theme of ‘Precious Time’ (World Stroke Day Theme as per World Stroke Organization) organized by Department of Nerurophysiotherpy, VVPF College of Physiotherapy, India, held on 29th October 2023.
He delivered a key talk on ‘Powered Exoskeleton and Stroke Clinical Outcome: Focus on Re-walking”. Type of exoskeleton and evidence summary for gait re-training was extensively covered to provide neurophysiotherapists to enhance their clinical decision making. Renowned Neurologists and neuro physiotherapists also provided elaborate talk on community ambulation, transcranial neuro stimulation and botulin toxin therapy for rehabilitation. Around 200 participants from India participated in conference and followed by student research and poster presentations.
