Congratulations to Dr. Animesh Hazari for presenting his valuable research findings as a Speaker at the 8th Annual Conference for Society of Indian Physiotherapists, Chandigarh India 8-10 March 2024. His presentation titled “The accuracy of 10 g monofilament use for clinical screening of diabetes peripheral neuropathy among Indian population” gathered more than 300 delegates. This research has been conducted as a collaborative research project between Gulf Medical University and Manipal Academy of Higher Education with a significant output. The work was well appreciated by national and international researchers.
Praveen Kumar, Dean, COHS, said that the work needs to be extended to find out the correct monofilament for DPN among the studied population for serving the community better. As a co-researcher, he feels satisfied that the work has been published in a Q1 journal.
