The Department of Anesthesia Technology, College of Health Sciences (CoHS), Gulf Medical University (GMU), warmly welcomed the 2025 intake of BSc. Anesthesia Technology students with an engaging orientation session on August 30, 2025.

The program began with an inspiring welcome address by Dr. Praveen Kumar, Dean of CoHS, setting the tone for a transformative academic journey. Dr. Ellen Ghazi, Program Director, highlighted the academic calendar, policies, and integrity guidelines, followed by Mr. Nithin Raj, who provided an in-depth overview of Semester 1 courses, weekly schedules, and assessments.

Students were also introduced to GMU’s Learning Management System (LMS) and Folio 360 by Mr. Suraj Sebastian, while Registrar Mr. Aslam Kutty addressed key administrative procedures. Dr. Ramprasad M showcased the extensive library resources, and Ms. Liza Kaminzada emphasized student support services through the Student Affairs Department.

The orientation offered new students a comprehensive overview of the academic structure, support systems, and world-class resources that define GMU, preparing them for success in their healthcare careers.
