College of Health Sciences (CoHS), Gulf Medical University (GMU) is proud to announce that the research work titled “Development and Standardization of Radiation Perception Tool for Nurses (ABMW) – A Doctoral Research Study” has been officially granted Intellectual Works Rights Registration by the UAE Ministry of Economy and Tourism.
The Radiation Perception Tool (ABMW) was conceptualized and developed to scientifically assess nurses’ knowledge, awareness, perception, and attitudes towards radiation and radiation safety in clinical practice. The intellectual property registration recognizes the originality and innovation of the tool while protecting the intellectual contributions of the research team.

The tool was conceptualized and developed by Albin Babu M. Wilson, Lecturer, Medical Imaging Sciences, in collaboration with Dr. Anusha Sreejith, Faculty, College of Medicine, Dr. Animesh Hazari, Associate Professor, Department of Physiotherapy, CoHS, and Dr. Praveen Kumar, Dean, CoHS.
