Dr. Ramprasad Muthukrishnan, Associate Dean Clinical, Professor and Chairperson of the Department of Physiotherapy at the College of Health Sciences (CoHS), Gulf Medical University (GMU), delivered a well-received expert talk on Repetitive Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (rTMS) at the Emirates Health Services (EHS) conference held on 5 November 2025 in the UAE.

Dr. Ramprasad’s session educated the participants through the science behind rTMS, its clinical applications and the growing body of evidence supporting its role in neurorehabilitation. He explained how this non-invasive brain stimulation technique contributes to motor recovery, functional gains and improved patient outcomes across a range of neurological conditions. The audience also explored current research trends, safety considerations and practical approaches for integrating rTMS into rehabilitation practice.
