Dr. Aejaz Ahmad, Ass. Professor, Department of Anesthesia Technology, College of Health Sciences (CoHS), Gulf Medical University (GMU), UAE, served as the guest speaker for an international webinar held on January 12, 2026. The session, titled “From Skills to Success: Career Pathway in Operation Theatre and Anaesthesia Technology,” was organized by the Department of Operation Theatre and Anaesthesia Technology, Manipal College of Health Professions, MAHE, Manipal.
The webinar was conducted for students and faculty of the Department of Operation Theatre and Anaesthesia Technology and focused on guiding participants toward structured professional growth in the field.
During the session, Dr. Aejaz drew on his extensive academic and clinical experience to discuss the transition from academic training to professional practice. He highlighted:
- Career Trajectories: Insights into the evolving roles of Anaesthesia and Operation Theatre Technologists in contemporary global healthcare practices.
- Skill Integration: The importance of bridging evidence-based knowledge with clinical practice to improve surgical outcomes and patient safety.
