Dr. Praveen Kumar, Dean CoHS, GMU Serves as Committee Member and Session Co-chair at IPRMC 2025

Dr. Praveen Kumar, Dean of the College of Health Sciences at Gulf Medical University, played a key leadership role at the 8th International Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine Conference themed – “Rehab 360: Advancements in Multidisciplinary Rehabilitation” held in Abu Dhabi from November 21 to 23, 2025.

As a committee member, he contributed to the scientific planning and overall direction of the IPRM conference 2025, featuring 65 Thought Leaders from leading healthcare organizations, covering diverse rehabilitation topics focusing on advanced knowledge and practical insights delivered to 400 Rehabilitation Professionals from 14 countries. His involvement supported the event’s goal of advancing multidisciplinary rehabilitation practice across the region.

Dr. Praveen also co-chaired one of the scientific sessions, guiding discussions on emerging trends and clinical innovations in rehabilitation medicine. His leadership helped create a productive platform for knowledge exchange among global experts and highlighted GMU’s continued commitment to academic excellence, research and professional development.

Dr. Praveen’s participation reinforced the strong regional presence of the College of Health Sciences, GMU and its role in shaping the future of evidence-based rehabilitation in the MENA region.
