College of Health Sciences, Gulf Medical University congratulates Dr. Rizwana Hussaindeen, Associate Professor and Program Director of the BSc. Optometry Program, Department of Optometry and Vision Sciences, CoHS, on her appointment as Chairperson of the GMU Inter-Professional Education (IPE) Committee.
In this new role, Dr. Rizwana will guide GMU’s IPE activities and work with programs across the university to enhance team-based learning, shared competencies and collaborative practice. This appointment reflects the university’s commitment to improving health professions education.
