College of Healthcare Management and Economics, Gulf Medical University, Ajman, UAE, recently organized a project management workshop on the theme “Implementing strategies using project management as a tool” on March 31, 2023. The workshop was attended by faculty members from different colleges of the Gulf Medical University. The workshop started with the address of Chancellor Prof. Hossam Hamdy, who addressed the need for such a workshop and the role of project management and system thinking in academic health centers. Following his address, speakers from the College of Healthcare Management and Economics, Dr. Jagroop Singh, Dr. Sudhir Rana, Dr. Vinaytosh Mishra, and Dr. Najeb Masoud, shared their insights on project management, strategy implementation, system thinking, feasibility analysis, and budgeting for projects. The event concluded with Acting Dean Dr. Moon Moon Haque extending a vote of thanks to all attendees.
