Diabetes is an escalating health concern. On October 5, 2023, at the Health Policy SIG Meeting of the System Dynamics Society, Dr. Vinaytosh Mishra of Gulf Medical University showcased his study titled “System Dynamics Modelling for Prevalence, Prevention, and Control of Diabetes.” This presentation was succeeded by a dialogue on model development and validation. Experts from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, University of Bergen and other renowned universities attended the session. The health systems modelling experts Prof. Jack Homer, Founder Homer Consulting, USA appreciated the insights shared by Dr. Mishra and invited him for active participation in Special Interest Group (SIG) activities.
