Mr. Vedant Ahluwalia, Managing Director of Dataviv Technologies, delivered an invited lecture on the topic “AI–Operating Systems (AI-OS)” at Thumbay College of Management and AI in Healthcare, Gulf Medical University (GMU), Ajman on February 10, 2026. The session witnessed active participation from students and faculty members across disciplines, reflecting the growing interest in emerging AI-driven technologies in healthcare.

During his talk, Mr. Ahluwalia elaborated on the concept of AI-OS as a next-generation digital infrastructure that integrates artificial intelligence directly into operating systems, enabling seamless interaction between users, data, and intelligent applications. He highlighted how AI-OS can automate complex workflows, support real-time decision-making, and enhance interoperability across healthcare platforms. He further discussed its potential in clinical decision support, predictive analytics, and personalized patient care, emphasizing how such systems can reduce cognitive burden on healthcare professionals while improving accuracy and efficiency.

The lecture also explored practical use cases of AI-OS in hospital environments, including intelligent electronic health records, automated diagnostics, and adaptive healthcare systems capable of learning from continuous data streams. Mr. Ahluwalia emphasized that AI-OS will democratize the development and use of AI in medicine by making advanced tools more accessible, scalable, and user-friendly for clinicians and healthcare organizations.

The session concluded with an engaging interaction where participants discussed future applications and challenges of AI-OS in healthcare. Dr. Vinaytosh Mishra extended his gratitude to the guest speaker and appreciated the enthusiastic participation of the audience.
