Prof. Bassem Mohamed, Professor of Endodontics & Program Director of the MDS Endodontics Program, College of Dentistry, Gulf Medical University, delivered a presentation on “Implementation of E-Logbook Using Moodle LMS” during the Faculty Development Program organized by Gulf Medical University on the 12th of March 2026.
In his session, Prof. Bassem highlighted the implementation of the e-logbook developed through the QA and IE portal and its integration with the Moodle Learning Management System. He discussed how the digital logbook facilitates systematic documentation of students’ clinical activities and supports continuous monitoring of competency development. The session emphasized the role of e-logbooks in enhancing transparency, feedback, and outcome-based assessment within clinical education. Faculty members gained valuable insights into utilizing digital tools to strengthen academic tracking and program quality.
