The College of Dentistry at Gulf Medical University successfully organized a specialized Faculty Development Program titled “Introduction to New AI Technologies” on the 25th August 2026.
The engaging session was presented by Dr. Omar Mohamed Maher, a dental intern, from the College of Dentistry. Faculty members gathered to explore how cutting-edge AI tools, such as Claude, can be seamlessly integrated into daily academic responsibilities. Dr Omar illustrated about how to use Claude co-work,plugins and proper use of claude prompts. Attendees learned practical strategies to simplify workflows, efficiently prepare lectures, manage and draft email responses, and design assessment questions. This initiative underscores the institution’s ongoing commitment to embracing technological innovations and empowering educators with modern tools.
