Dr. Mohamed Atef Highlights Career Pathways After Postgraduate and Implant Dentistry Training at GMU at the AEEDC 2026 Career Advancement Forum

The College of Dentistry (CoD), Gulf Medical University (GMU) highlighted advanced career opportunities in dentistry at the AEEDC Career Advancement Forum, held during the UAE International Dental Conference & Arab Dental Exhibition (AEEDC) on the 21st of January 2026.

The session, titled “Career Advancement Pathways at Gulf Medical University: Your Gateway to Specialized Dental Training and Professional Growth,” was delivered by Dr. Mohamed Atef, Assistant Professor of Periodontics, CoD, GMU. The presentation provided valuable insights into structured career pathways available to dental graduates, with particular emphasis on progression after the MDS Periodontics program and opportunities offered through the Clinical Certificate in Dental Implantology (CCDI) program.

Dr. Atef highlighted how GMU’s postgraduate and clinical certificate programs are designed to bridge academic excellence with advanced clinical competencies, enabling graduates to pursue specialized practice, academic careers, and leadership roles in dentistry. The session was well received by attendees, offering clarity on professional growth, skill enhancement, and long-term career planning in contemporary dental practice.
