COVID19 Control Officer (CCO) Training Program was organized by the Gulf Medical University on the 23rd of September 2020. The program was facilitated by respected Chancellor, Prof. Hossam Hamdy and Vice Chancellor Academics, Prof. Manda Venkatramana. The program was led by Dr. Fiaz Ahamed, Infection Control Manager, GMU. He explained the pathogenesis of the COVID19 infection, the national guidelines on clinical management and treatment of COVID19 followed by contact tracing for COVID19 positive cases. The program was attended by selected GMU faculty and students of various colleges, wherein College of Dentistry actively participated.
