The College of Dentistry, Gulf Medical University, organized an informative career advising session titled “Achieving Your MOH License as a Dental Assistant” for first and second year Diploma for Dental Assistant (DDA) program students. The session took place on the 4th of November 2025 and was presented by Dr. Dhanya V K, GP Dentist at Thumbay Dental Hospital.
Dr. Dhanya provided a clear overview of the MOH licensing process, eligibility criteria, required documentation, and exam preparation strategies tailored specifically for aspiring dental assistants. She also addressed common challenges and shared practical tips to help students successfully navigate the licensing pathway.
The interactive session offered students valuable insights into career progression within the UAE healthcare system and highlighted the importance of professional certification for future clinical practice. This initiative reflects GMU’s commitment to guiding students towards informed, goal-oriented career development.
