The College of Dentistry at Gulf Medical University (GMU) organized a Career Advising Session titled “Pass the Emirates Dental Residency Entrance Examination and Claim Your Residency” on the 15th of April 2026. The session was delivered by Dr. Fatima Abdul Rahman Mohammed, alumna of GMU and Clinical Instructor, who shared valuable insights into preparing for the Emirates Dental Residency Entrance Examination and navigating residency opportunities in the United Arab Emirates.
The session highlighted key strategies for examination preparation, application procedures, and the competencies required for securing residency positions. Emphasis was also placed on structured career planning and aligning clinical goals with postgraduate training pathways.
The event was attended by BDS students, interns, MDS postgraduates, and alumni, providing an opportunity for meaningful academic engagement. The initiative reflects the College’s commitment to guiding students toward successful postgraduate careers and advancing professional development in dentistry.
