College of Dentistry conducted a seminar and workshop on 26th April 2019 (Friday), titled “Complete endodontics made easy – At glance 19.2” workshop had seats open for 20 participants.
The objectives of the program were to update and refresh topics from diagnosis to obturation and improve participants skills on “single file rotary system” for preparation of root canal and obturation of the prepared root canal using thermoplastized Gutta precha to fill 3- dimensionally.
The workshop included 5 lectures back to back, the topics for the session were regarding diagnosis related to endodontic lesions, root canal morphology, root canal preparation, and obturation, followed by hands-on workshop for 3 hours on rotary single file (Wave one gold) root canal preparation and obturation using Gutta core, conducted at state-of-art pre-clinical lab, College of Dentistry. Dr. Sura Ali Ahmed Fuoad, Associate Dean Academics, College of Dentistry, distributed certificates to all the speakers and participants for the workshop accredited by MOHAP for 4.75 CME hours.
The response was overzealous, we received some comments from participants who were welcomed, and we ensured them that the demand of the participants will be met in upcoming programs.
