An ‘educational event’ was organized by the College of Dentistry for all dental interns & faculty on 23rd January 2020. The event was led by, Prof. Mohamed Diaa, Dean of Faculty of Dentistry, Ain Shams University, Cairo, Egypt a leading academic practitioner and Prof. Hesham Marei, Dean of College of Dentistry, Gulf Medical University, Ajman. The event involved a lecture by Prof. Diaa on “Controversy in the management of impacted wisdom teeth” that was followed by a discussion on various case scenarios, standard patient care, choice of drugs and radiological techniques. Overall it was an informative and brainstorming event.
