A Presentation on Medication Misadventures organized by the Thumbay Dental Hospital, Ajman ‘Medication Safety is everyone’s concern’

Thumbay Dental Hospital, GMU organized a presentation on ‘Medication Error and Right Dosage and Frequency’ for dental interns and faculty on the 20^th of July 2022. The session was delivered by Dr.Sumbal Aqeel, Pharmacist, TDHA, and facilitated by Prof.Hossam Abdelatty. The session included an interaction on topics such as medication errors and adverse drug events (preventable, non-preventable, intercepted, and non-intercepted). It also highlighted important practices such as voluntary incident reporting to enable timely implementation of targeted measures to minimize risks. The session was well received by all the participants.
