Prof. Nadia Badrawi
Prof. Nadia Badrawi, is an in an international expert in Quality Assurance and Accreditation in Higher Education. Dr. Badrawi is the main founder and the vice president of the Arab Network for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ANQAHE), a Board Member of the National Authority for Quality Assurance in Education in Egypt, the Advisory Council of the CHEA International Quality Group (CIQG), the Global Pediatrics Education Consortium (GPEC) and the National Medical Sector Committee for Planning and Development in Egypt. Dr. Badrawi was the chairperson of the National Quality Assurance and Accreditation Committee in Egypt. She disseminated the culture of Quality Assurance in Higher Education at Regional and National levels.
Dr. Badrawi was the chairperson of the Pediatrics Department Cairo University. She is specialized in the neonatology, she established a neonatal unit in the children hospital at Cairo University, she was the first person to introduce the neonatal ventilation in Egypt and the first person to work on the neonatal infection control at a national level. Dr. Nadia established the Egyptian Association of Neonatology in 1998. She chaired the national committee of promotion for professors and assistant professors in Pediatrics for about 8 years. Dr. Badrawi is also the main author of many quality assurance and accreditation books, Pediatrics and neonatal books.
