Gulf Medical College, Ajman has organized the first event of the GMC Harvard Medical School Dubai Center Medical Grand Rounds yesterday at Hotel Radisson SAS Sharjah.
His Excellency Sheikh Mohamed Bin Saqr Al Qassimi, Director Ministry of Health Sharjah Medical District inaugurated the conference in the presence of Thumbay Moideen, president Gulf Medical College. Later he presented honored the guest speakers by presenting mementos. He expressed happiness over such joint efforts being made to highlight important health issues. Conference secretariat-Gulf medical College organized a seminar on the use of Ozone as complementary medicine at the college on the 1st of February 2007. Over 100 delegates from UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Bahrain attended the seminar.
Dr. Renate Viebahn-Haensler Baden-Baden, Germany spoke on Pharmacological background and specific indications, Diabetes, Virus caused diseases and complementary oncology. Dipl. Ing. Stefan Hoefele from Germany delivered talk on Medical ozone generators and materials under the Medical Device Directives. Late a workshop on Ozone in Practice was conducted by Dr. med. Aziz A.G. Aziz, Gulf Medical College Ajman, UAE. Following aspects were covered during the workshop.
