The Conference Secretariat at the Gulf Medical College will be organizing an International Conference on Cardiology on the 12th of December 2002 at its campus in Ajman. In an official communiqué issued by the conference secretariat, Mr. Thumbay Moideen, President of the college said “Our aim is to complement the efforts of the Ministry of Health, Department of Health and Medical Services and Emirates Medical Association, and largely we have succeeded in our attempts”. The GMC Hospital and Research Center, the first ever university hospital in the country, will play a pivotal role in updating the local doctors and healthcare professionals in region, with the latest developments in the healthcare sector. It also gives a great opportunity for the medical and pharmaceutical companies to participate and enhance the value of the scientific programmes.
