Gulf Medical College Ajman, under the patronage of HH Sheikh Humaid Bin Rashid Al Nuaimi is organizing a one-day Regional Symposium on INFECTIOUS DISEASES IN OBSTETRICS AND GYNAECOLOGY, on 18th January 2001, at Gulf Medical College Auditorium, Ajman. This is the second event being organized by the conference secretariat, which we have recently set up, said Mr. Thumbay Moideen, President of the college. Our aim is to hold such symposia, seminars and conference at regular intervals for the benefit of the medical fraternity, medical students and faculty not only in the UAE but also in the entire region, he added.   We are thankful to HH Sheikh Humaid Bin Rashid Al Nuaimi for his support, without which all these would have been impossible. HE Sheikh Majid Bin Saeed Al Nuaimi, Minister of Supreme Council Affairs will inaugurate the Symposium, and Dr. Abdul Gaffar Abdul Ghafoor, Asst. Under Secretary, Curative Medicine Affairs, Ministry of Health. will deliver the keynote address, according to the press release.
