Gulf College of Allied Health Sciences, a constituent college of Gulf Medical University hosted a conference on Evidence Based Practice in Physical Therapy on the 28th of February 2009 at GMU Campus in Ajman.

His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Majid Bin Saeed Al Nuaimi, Chairman, Ruler’s Court Ajman inaugurated the conference. He honored the invited faculty who delivered talks at the conference. October being the Breast Cancer Awareness month, GMC Hospital & Research Centre has been in the forefront to commemorate it in a big way.

A 5-day Breast Cancer Awareness Program was conducted from October 19 – 23, 2008 in GMC Hospital premises.

Dr. Manda Venkatramana, Associate Dean, Professor of Surgery and the Organizing Chairman of this Program said that the inspiration for conducting this program was the phenomenal success of a similar campaign conducted last year and the positive feedback obtained from the participants. …Continue reading
